Eternal God,
you alone are the Alpha and the Omega;
the one who
is, and who was and who is to come.
We confess
that we too often do not listen to your voice.
Instead we
allow ourselves to be seduced
by the easy
and vicious lies of this world.
O Lord,
forgive us our sins.
Merciful
God,
love us.
Free
us from our sins.
Make
us to be your kingdom.
Turn
us toward your truth
that
we might testify to it forevermore.
Amen.
